JAIMA Symposium held at Pittcon 2023, a conference on laboratory and laboratory equipment, to introduce the latest analytical solutions for biopharmaceuticals and bio-therapeutics
The Japan Analytical Instrument Manufacturers’ Association (JAIMA, 2-5-16, Kanda Nishiki-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 101-0054; president: Akira Nakamoto [also senior advisor of Shimadzu Corporation]) will hold the JAIMA Symposium at Pittcon 2023 (March 18, 2023 to March 22, Philadelphia, PA, USA), one of the world's largest exhibitions of laboratory and laboratory equipments and devices.
This symposium will be held under the theme of "Analytical Solutions for Research, Development & CMC of Novel Modalities of Drugs - Comprehensive Understanding of Molecular Structure, Dynamics and Function". A comprehensive understanding of the structure, dynamic behavior and function of molecules is becoming increasingly important in the development of new pharmaceutical modalities such as next-generation antibody drugs and nucleic acid drugs. In this symposium, we will raise the importance of the fusion of analytical chemistry and data science to obtain such comprehensive knowledge, and discuss projects and technologies related to the development of analytical solutions for the pharmaceutical market in the era of data science.
Through this symposium, JAIMA will provide information on the latest analytical solutions related to biopharmaceuticals and bio-therapeutics in Japan and abroad to CROs, CMOs, pharmaceutical companies and related academia participating in Pittcon 2023 from around the world. The JAIMA booth(No.1942) will be displayed at the exhibition, and the company will further expand its business overseas to revitalize the domestic analysis and analytical instruments arket.
