JAIMA to Exhibit at “analytica 2022″– A trade fair for analytical instruments held in Munich, Germany –
The Japan Analytical Instrument Manufacturers' Association (hereinafter "JAIMA"; location: 2-5-16 Kanda Nishiki-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, 101-0054 Japan; president: Akira Nakamoto; senior corporate advisor: Shimadzu Corporation) announces today that it will exhibit at "analytica 2022," which is an international trade fair for laboratory technology, analytical instruments, and biotechnology held in Munich, Germany. This year, the event will take place during June 21–24, 2022.
The "analytica" event, which is organized by Messe München, is a biennial exhibition focusing on laboratory technology, analytical instruments, and biotechnology. The previous event, "analytica 2020," was the first "analytica" event to be held virtually as a digital event, attracting more than 21,641 online visitors from 152 countries. It was reported that a total of 268 exhibitors from 24 countries and 33,000 attendees participated in the corporate webinars and presentations offered. Building on the success of the previous virtual event, "analytica 2022" will be conducted as a traditional face-to-face event.
JAIMA has participated in this exhibition continuously since the first "analytica" exhibition in 2006. In addition to introducing JAIMA itself, at "analytica 2022," JAIMA will provide an overview of the implementation of the Japan Analytical & Scientific Instruments Show (JASIS) to date, will report on various results, and will introduce JASIS' own projects as well as JASIS WebExpo®, which is an exhibition and lecture series that can be viewed and attended via the internet. By presenting trends in Japanese analytical technology at the German "analytica 2022" exhibition, JAIMA can raise awareness of JAIMA and JASIS among visitors and will encourage them to visit and exhibit at JASIS 2022.
